This was my first month of concentrated effort in online marketing; but I must confess I allowed myself to get sidetracked a few times looking a various tools to help in my effort. One good tool I picked up was the One Week Marketing Plan that I think will add a beneficial component to my plan. I’ll gauge it and let you know its effect on my earnings. Overall it was a pretty good month. I was able to bring my Twitter followers up to 401. I also created 7 lenses, 2 eHow articles, and 1 hub. Here are the links in case you’re interested:

My Earnings for January came through three main channels:
Adsense: $2.60–of particular note is that over half this income came from links from Hubpages
Commission Junction: $2.50
Sponsored Tweets: $8.25
Other miscellaneous income: $.81
Total online income for January 2010: $14.16
Not stellar but it’s a start that I’m grateful for. My plans for this month are to continue with my plans, distraction free this month.
